Use and all of its entities are committed to supporting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
We recognise Equality, Diversity and Inclusion under the following definitions –
Equality is about providing everybody with equal opportunity and not treating them differently or discriminating against them because of their characteristics.
Diversity is about taking account of the differences between people, and groups of people, and placing a positive value on those differences. Use recognise these protected characteristics to include gender, ethnicity, age and sexuality, social background, disability and neurodiversity, such as autism and dyslexia.
Inclusion refers to an individual’s experience within the workplace and wider society, and the extent to which they feel valued and included.
Our aim at Use is to be truly representative of all sections of society and our members, employees and visitors to feel respected and able to give their best.
Use will actively encourage equality, diversity and inclusion in through the Use Pillars as they are good practice and make business sense.
Use will create a working environment free of bullying, harassment, victimisation and unlawful discrimination, promoting dignity and respect for all, and where individual differences and the contributions of all employees are recognised and valued.
