Preparing the Caravan Roof

Install a battery monitor to track state‑of‑charge and avoid over‑discharge.
Testing and Maintenance
After installation, power on the charge controller and verify the panel voltage with a multimeter. Check that the battery voltage rises during sunlight and that the controller's LED indicators show normal operation. Clean the panel surface regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the glass. Inspect mounting bolts every six months, tightening as needed, and replace any damaged seals.
