Gathering Equipment and Tools

Mounting the Racking System

Installing the Panels

Wiring the Electrical System

Use junction boxes where cable runs cross. At the inverter, connect the DC input to the inverter's terminals, then run the AC output to the main service panel via a breaker. Verify all connections are tight and insulated.
System Activation and Testing
Once wiring is complete, turn on the inverter and check the monitoring display for voltage and current readings. Use the Simplisafe mobile app to confirm the system is reporting power production. Perform a safety test by disconnecting one panel and observing the inverter's response. Finally, submit any required documentation to your utility for net metering approval.
