Solving the climate emergency remains high on the agenda for many businesses, brands and organisations, and to play our part we have created Use.Today, a hub for resources and information designed to help local business and academia share knowledge, innovation and solutions to these issues.

So when Elevate GM, one of our trusted business collaborators here at Use.Space, asked us to participate in the Greater Manchester Green Summit, we couldn’t wait to share the work we’re doing to contribute towards positive change and the building of a more sustainable future.

#GMGreenSummit2020

One of the biggest challenges we’re all up against is whenever local businesses and organisations look at such a huge global problem as climate change, it can seem like there is little they can do to affect change. In those instances, we can often feel completely overwhelmed and quickly find ourselves asking ‘what can we actually do about it?’

This is why Use.Today exists. We are shining a light not only on the problems, but also on the problem solvers, identifying and sharing real-world solutions that can be implemented by SME’s to help tackle climate change.

‘We need solutions that make it easy to make sustainable choices.’

Leyla Acaroglu, Sustainability Innovator & Educator

The key to our success is collaboration. We’ve partnered with different people approaching change in different ways, from Dr Patsy Perry, a leading expert on sustainability and fast fashion, to international speaker on brand purpose and co-author of ‘Good is the New Cool’, Afdhel Aziz, on the small steps that we can all take towards tackling this problem collectively.
